Read&Write 12, MindView 7 and more software now live in the Learning Labs portal

e-Learning portal for assistive technology, Learning Labs has announced the launch of a total of seven new and updated tutorials or ‘Labs’ including Read&Write 12 and MindView 7.

These new ‘Labs’ include three updated versions of the most popular assistive software programmes in the sector, and four programmes that are entirely new to the e-learning portal.

We spoke to Learning Labs Strategic Relationship Manager Chris Collier to find out the development plan behind this bumper release.

Chris said: “We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to develop new content for our e-learning portal. This development is based on feedback from our network of DSA professionals and learners.

“If you log into Learning Labs now you will find over 100 tutorials in our new and updated Labs. We can only do this by listening to ideas and suggestions from our network of assessors, trainers, study skills tutors, disability officers and from the learners themselves. We are actively prioritising updates for the most in-demand assistive technology, but we also have some development plans in place for updating the Learning Labs user experience. You can find out more about this in our free, 30-minute webinars.”

Learning Labs ran a first set of webinars in November, and are teaming up with their publisher partners for a second set of webinars in December.
